First layer of verification

Completed once at application. This is how we confirm you are who you say you are.

Section 1

Identity Verification

Every coach submits a government-issued ID to confirm their real identity. Their account name is cross-referenced against their submitted ID. Banking details are connected separately via Stripe when a coach requests their first payout — no upfront bank details required during the application.

Your track record

Have past coaching experience or competitive career achievements? Submit them here. We manually verify every submission within 48 hours. If confirmed authentic, your evidence is automatically added to your public coach profile, visible to every potential student.

Submitting track record evidence is optional. Coaches without it are not penalised — identity verification alone is sufficient to earn the badge.

Earning the badge is not the end of the process. Every verified coach is monitored on an ongoing basis.

Layer 1

Review monitoring

Every review on every coach profile is continuously moderated for authenticity. Suspicious or fabricated reviews are blocked before they ever appear publicly. We assess each coach's overall reliability based on review patterns over time — so what you see on a coach's profile is always real.

Layer 2

Dispute tracking

Students can file a report limited to one per 24 hours, with edit logs on every submission. A coach's internal dispute history is factored into their ongoing platform eligibility — a pattern of disputes has real consequences. This system protects players while ensuring coaches are not targeted unfairly.

Layer 3

Delivery vetting

After every session, students rate whether their coach delivered exactly what they claimed to offer. Coaches who consistently under-deliver on their stated offering are flagged and reviewed by our team. What a coach promises on their profile is what they are held to.

Payment protection

Your money never leaves without your permission.

Stripe Escrow is active on every single session — for players and coaches alike.

Player books & pays

Payment is held securely in escrow immediately on booking. The coach receives nothing yet.

Session is completed

The player confirms the session happened. No confirmation means no payment released.

Funds released to coach

Only after the player confirms completion does the payment release to the coach. No completion, no payment.

Track record evidence is completely optional. Coaches without it are not penalised — passing identity verification alone is sufficient to earn the badge. The track record section exists to reward coaches who have verifiable history, not to exclude those who don't.

Yes. All identity documents are encrypted in transit and at rest. We collect only the minimum information required, retain it only as long as necessary, and operate in compliance with applicable data protection laws across Southeast Asia. We never sell or share your personal data with third parties.

Verified status is a maintained privilege, not a permanent award. A single confirmed violation results in immediate badge removal and account suspension during investigation. Serious violations such as fraud or harassment result in permanent account termination, with all affected students receiving full refunds.

Coaches apply for verification per game title. A coach verified for one game cannot automatically coach another title under the same badge — a separate track record submission is required for each game. This ensures every badge is meaningful and specific.

Yes. If your application is rejected, you will receive written feedback explaining the reason. You may reapply after 30 days with updated or corrected information.
